COLORS
Melamine boards consist of a raw particle board substrate with resin-infused decorative paper permanently fused to both sides. Heat and pressure activate the resin to effectively seal the substrate and produce cabinet doors.
Polyethylene Terephthalate or PET film is a thermoplastic polymer, which is laminated to an MDF core with a proprietary glue under high heat and pressure, creating an ideal surface for building cabinetry. PET materials are extremely heat and moisture resistant. There is no painting involved when using PET, saving time and money. Our PET materials are exact matches in super-matte or high-gloss, allowing for design consistency and flexibility throughout your home or office. PET Super matte materials virtually eliminate finger prints and provide a soft touch and ambiance to the room.
Matte finish for kitchen cabinets is very popular for a number of reasons. For instance, fingerprints, scratches and other imperfections are far less noticeable than on gloss-finish doors. The cabinet finish you choose will create a very different look regardless of the material. People who like the traditional style may choose the matte lacquer finish and the shaker-style door panel. Also, the flat matte lacquer is a good choice for a modern kitchen cabinet, which is extremely pleasant and looks classy.
The high gloss is a shiny coating, which uses a reflection sheet of oil. Light bounces off the surface, so our viewer can see the light reflection. Its nickname is full gloss or ultra-high gloss. People who like contemporary style may choose the flat high gloss for their kitchen cabinet door panel. They choose the white high gloss lacquer the most.
